I am a 17-year-old student at Snyder High School who is trying to make a difference
I
am a football player but not your average jock.
I
am an artist who likes to express his feelings
through
his art.
Along with all the things I have mentioned,
I am a student who is just tired of settling and not being able to reach for the greater things.
I
come from a family of four,
my
grandmother, my sister, my mom,
and
of course me.
I grew up without a father and I feel that doing so
has
made me a stronger person,
and
has allowed me to mature beyond my years.

Carolyn Garcia
•HI!! My name is Carolyn Garcia and I attend Snyder high school in
Jersey City ,NJ.
•I am 16 years old and my birthday is June 10.
I am the youngest of three
girls.
I live with my mother and my sister Diana.
My sister Diana
is 17 years old and my other sister Wilka is 20 years old.
My mother , Olga, is from Colombia.
My father, Wilson, is from the Dominican Republic.
Devon Gleason
My name is Devon Gleason, a student at Henry Snyder High School. In previous years, I
have been awarded academic achievement/excellence in mathematics.
I am well rounded in school and community activities. As a member
of the century program (TCP Scholars) I receive mentoring opportunities,
establish short and long term goals to foster awareness of the future
and of my potential, visit college campuses and meeting college students and staff activities that raise my aspirations and leadership skills in taking responsibility for my community. Also the New Jersey City University’s College Bound Program which prepares my college level abilities. In addition to the previous activities, I am a Snyder
high school football player and a Hip Hop/R&B lyricist and producer,
leading my music group through two anti-drug/violence competition
victories.
